The HOKIES play at GA Tech tonight. The game is supposed to be on the ACC network. The HOKIES are favored by 6.5; the over/under is 131. If the HOKIES are not ice cold from three again, this should be a win against a Yellow Jacket team that is 4-12 in ACC play. I'm still recovering from my golf trip; so no tables for this game.

Did you know this is a critical time of the game? Seems like the announcers should mention that 2 or 300 times.
And that the GT offense is off the floor and GT keeps building the lead when GT was only up between 3 and 5 points.

A win in this game won't punch a ticket to the NCAA tournament, but a loss would essentially wipe out any chance.

May be more than 2 games. I don't remember seeing him for the last several games in Blacksburg. He is still listed on the roster on HokieSports, however.
Maybe he missed others, but i never noticed his absence. I saw him around campus with Storm Murphy a week or so ago. Not sure why he's not at the games anymore.

Just don't understand how MY keeps looking at the box score stats and eye test and keeps playing storm for twice as many minutes as Pedulla and Maddox doesn't rotate evenly with alleyne and Cattor
Seriously! We seem to play so much better with Maddox and Pedula on the floor. Maddox is a walking bucket.
Without Maddux last night, they lose that game.
Maddux driving on Howard and getting Howard's 5th foul and scoring was HUGE.
This new illness has been diagnosed as Braxton Burmeister syndrome.
Maddox doesn't play defense like Hunter yet, he primarily swaps with Alleyne.
Pedulla is getting more and more minutes. CMY some yesterday with Pedulla and Storm both on the court.
Storm should be playing like 10 minutes tops though, he doesn't help this team win. And Maddox is flat out better than Alleyne and better offensively than Cattoor
In agreement on Storm. I think CMY is pulling a Buzz trick and keeping Pedulla on the bench for the first couple of minutes to give him some last coaching (from an assistant coach) and advice against what the opposing team is doing before he goes in. Then he can be more effective from the bench then necessarily starting.
Not sure what has happened to Alleyne this year, I agree Maddox appears to be better across the board.
Hunter is the best on the team when he feeling it. Last couple of games have been a big slump for him offensively, but he is also one of our better defenders.
Wait til next year when junior year Maddox (if he doesn't transfer) still isn't starting over Alleyne...
MY seems like he trusts/loves his vets a little too much sometimes.
Always going to be lineup debates but in terms of I think our collective eye test and now the stats to prove it the starter minutes in the backcourt should go to Pedulla and Maddox. I would be giving that combination a try down the stretch here with the priority minutes. It does look like CMY is moving in this direction which is good to see. It is just so frustrating at the start of the game to see us come out with no clue this deep into the season... five minutes into the game last night and three points later... it is just ugly. My other gripe is our collective turnover issues and horrid passing night in and night out by Mutts. I've seriously never seen somebody throw the ball around so recklessly. If he wasn't such a gamer and energy guy he wouldn't make it on most courts with that kind of ball control.
