This is a good reminder to keep your address on their website updated too. Sometimes they'll send some unannounced thank you letters, swag packages, etc.
I had a package sitting at an old apartment for a while unbeknownst to me until i accidentally ordered something else to that address and had to go back for it.
Yeah. No kidding. The address they had for me was waaay old. Perhaps explains why my grad school sends me more than VT does. Or seemingly does.
They do this a lot actually. My yard flag the last couple years has just been a random gift. HC has really stepped it up recently.

I'm hanging mine at work next to the "Our State" flag in clear vision of all the other Hokie fans in the office and more importantly in front of all the UVA fans in the office.
I hung up my Our State flag as like a curtain in my office. Wife still gets annoyed at times because it makes the hallway maroon in sunlight. She gets it but she doesn't since she's a Hokie at least.

Done. I'll admit I've been remiss in giving to the Hokie Club over the years, so I made my first donation in a long time. I'm really warming to this system of small, more frequent donations vs. larger annual donations designed to hit a certain level.
Definitely much more palatable to drop a few small donations rather than one big one for me. I dropped a Beamer into the fund myself.

Has anyone received the banner yet for their donation? This was my first time donating and I created an account and donated $25 to the keep jumping fund but I have not received anything in the mail. Just thought I'd check.
Gonna need to give it some time, probably. The Our State flags that were offered after the UVa win on Nov 27th didn't ship until the first week of January
Really, it seems like a long time for something that should be printed in september.

As someone that works in government supply chain, 2-3 months from order to delivery is actually pretty good considering the material issues, holidays, and spike in cases we were having.
True story. Its the weirdest stuff that has the super long lead times. 20-25 weeks for rockwool insulation and toilet partitions. However, shockingly a fairly standard 6-8 weeks for big, high rate sand pool filters.

I got the Thank You Card, but it addressed me as a first-time donor (I'm not (not a top-dollar one, nor have I have ever had season tickets as Hokie Cub donor, either)).
I was also addressed as a first-time donor (I was). I'm more than happy with my donation I was just curious if there was something in their system that went straight to "first time donor = card + magnet" regardless of any other promotions. Interested to see if others continue to have a similar experience.
Regardless, go Hokies! I'm excited we've had some drafted this weekend.
Wouldnt read too much into it, probably a computer system thing. If one character (punctuation including spaces is off can lead to database errors). Sure it'd be nice to be recognized as a previous donor but if your name or nickname is different it might not track

I'll be honest, I'm a little disappointed over it being garden flag sized, but at the same time its going straight on the wall so who gives a shit. I'd have easily paid $20 for this retail, so to get this complementary for that amount as a donation to the Hokie Club is perfect.
Even though I have it and I'm actually looking at it, I still can't believe we won the ACC Tournament. What a memorable week that was.
