Are you thinking of Dae'Quan Wright? I don't think Dallan played last year due to an injury
I read it halfway as Dae'Quan first and my heart hit a little. I still care about each guy in the program, but those seem to be pretty big differences for the program going forward.
I wish this Wright he makes the Right moves and furthers himself to what he wants to accomplish!

Just looking at the roster right now there are a couple more that I could see leaving. It's an odd looking roster with almost no upper classmen. The ones we have are either 1) Oline/Dline, or transfered in. There are a couple of upper classmen that havent played a down.
I actually did a bit of looking last night while trying to get a kid to sleep. Based on that, I definitely expected this one. There's a linebacker that wouldn't surprise me in the least.
There are a few people that fit the bill, but I couldn't tell if they were on scholarship or not. Walk-ons leaving is fine, but doesn't help with the scholarship limit.
We still have a few positions where I feel like we have someone who doesn't provide the most benefit, at the cost of the scholarship. Yet, due to depth problems, they're in the conversation for playing time. That definitely reinforces my feelings that people should temper their expectations about this year.
expect a few more by Sunday as we continue to pursue transfers, gotta make room if we add more!
Big respect to him for sticking with it for 3 years at VT in the face of no playing time and injury. I think that shows a deep level of dedication which a lot of players don't have these days. Good luck out there, Dallan!
