Despite the disappointment this weekend with the ladies finishing a fantastic season on a sour note, and wanting to turn the page, IT IS NOT YET COLLEGE FOOTBALL SEASON!
After dropping the opener to #5 UVA on Friday night, 9-5, the Hokies bounced back with two wins (12-10 and 12-7) to finish the weekend and earn another point in the Commonwealth Clash. The series win was big for several reasons - the aforementioned point, beating UVA is always fun, and this is the first series win of any kind since we beat UMass Lowell on March 7/8. For those that haven't been paying attention, its been a very rough month for Team Hammer and this is the first ACC series win of the year. Hopefully this marks a turning point for the season and we can get back to playing up to our potential and have some into the Summer. PING!

The offense can play with anyone if the bullpen can get going they'll be fine. Hopefully this get the boys some momentum
