Yeah there's gonna have to be some adjustments to the bowls/hiring/portal ordeal. The coaches bailing is a whole different level especially the interim

I would actually love to watch that if you could somehow do it without the opponent learning the play calls ahead of time. Sure the fans still get smashed by an actual coach calling plays, but every time a play worked it would be a lot of fun.

I understand the frustration around coaches and players leaving and making bowls potentially less enjoyable for certain aspects/fans.
But I think there should still be a generic post season reward for your team. I find the bowl season fun, even when my team is playing the backups backup. My friends had a blast in NY the last bowl game we had. I'm planning a huge group for this year's in Maryland. I'm choosing not to be so invested in the result of the bowl game and more so invested in the surrounding effects of the bowl game, extra practices, another chance to party with my football friends, watching cfb games every day for like 3 weeks. The bowls, to me, are still beautiful and I'd be sad to lose them
Get rid of the early signing period. A lot of the push to get new coaches in place is to try to get people on board at ESD.
Move ESD back to the day after the CFP final. That'll add some parity since the Playoff teams will have to delegate game prep/recruiting duties.
