I don't know whether to laugh, cry, do both or just shrug this suggestion off.
AJ Swinton who just committed to the Hokies is currently teammates with Bronny James. The article linked above suggests Bronny wants to keep playing with Swinton.
I look at this with heavy speculative eyes. That said, if it were to happen it would obviously be high profile for our program, especially if Papa James started coming to games. It would create a Circus atmosphere around the program but would definitely fill seats. Seeing them together would be awesome.
That said, most reports have Bronny going to one of the Blue Bloods of Duke, Kansas, or Kentucky. If he does decide on one of those my concern is his sway could take Swinton off our board to follow Bronny. A double whammy would be if Coach Jones gets a head coaching gig anytime in the next two to three years.
Obviously a lot of what it's but it could be a wild few years if true. I don't see it happening but even being in the conversation will still be a positive for the program.

I have zero confidence that he winds up at VT, but would be the most well known recruit in VT history? Steph still follows VT Football, could we get Steph and Lebron on the sidelines for a game? One can dream...
