I think every ref has a story of a trucking. Either giving or receiving. I had to stiff arm a kid. He fell down in front of me. I had no choice but jump over him. He started to raise up right as I went over; I had to replant him.

Some comments online about a "connection" to VT. Anybody have any info on that? This would be in line with what pry said about not going outside of the footprint unless the kid had some kind of connection to the program.

Yay... but there's a LOT of time between now and when he would be expected to show-up on campus... enough time for a lot of NIL to be piled-up somewhere else to have him change his mind and reconsider.
Yeah, they spare no expense for kids nowadays. Pretty much all the REC leagues have better facilities than we had in high school. I remember practicing in the parking lots when we couldn't get access to the rock hard, baseball diamond outfields.
Still early in his recruitment, so let's hope he is well over 800% committed.
