Are current players allowed to participate in pro day in the modern day NCAA? I recall that Tyrod wanted to do his pro day with Danny and Boykin, but couldn't because that would make them ineligible?

Think that rule changed a few years ago. I believe you can have up to five non-prospect players participate. I think I saw Wells was throwing today for the prospects.

I'm curious to see how many teams are there with reps. I think Conner is the only one with a real shot to get drafted.

Yeah kinda goes to show just how things are that the pro day thread was an afterthought and garnered very minimal reaction.

We just didn't have much pro talent on this roster and it showed.

Really hope someone takes chamarri

There was some pro talent on the roster, but just not seniors (of which they're weren't many).

I could see Tyjuan Garbutt going the Jason Worilds route and transitioning to an outside linebacker type and won't be surprised to see a team snag him in the later rounds.

Dax is saying all the right things, but unfortunately his film shows him as a liability in coverage. One of the most disappointing things last year was that Pry challenged him to be as lean as possible for this exact reason, and he showed up 10 pounds heavier. There were several close games that arguably go the other way if he's a step quicker in coverage.

He's down 13 pounds now according to this article. I wish we had seen this last year. And it certainly would've helped him with his tape.

Damn, Pats must be short staffed, sending Bob Kraft out there to time guys on Pro Day.

Maybe he heard there was a rub and tug in Montgomery County.

I wholeheartedly support all the players who want to work hard, develop and improve.

But no one cares who has the lunch pail on a 3-win team.

Wholeheartedly disagree here.

Yeah, we have a guy that has shown flashes of being good that is now saying this is mine and you cunts are going to have to out work me for it. This tells me that Fuga is mentally ready to take the step we have all been waiting for, and he is challenging everyone else to do the same. We might not win a ton if games but a team full of Darryl Tapp mentalities is going to be a fun team to watch. And it means the right culture is in being instilled in the defense.

That team went 10-2 in 2004 and won the ACC in their first season. Lost 16-13 to undefeated Auburn in the Sugar Bowl.

Yeah they did, however there was a bit of a talent difference from that team to the one were going to field

I'd hope the players care a lot or else we're screwed.

Deposit whiskey, receive wisdom.

I think it matters because it shows the young men still have a great deal of pride about who we are... who we used to be, and who we want to be again. I'm here for it! I care about it!

Is coronavirus over yet?

They both can be special teamers / backups, at least

Hope I'm wrong, but I'm not really seeing Dax making an NFL roster in any capacity.
