2024 ATH Joshua Clarke Commits

As mentioned in the recruiting thread we got our first in state recruit. Likely ends up as DB.

Per the CBs on 247 we still have one more commit waiting to make their announcement. I like these timed announcements

Clarke's offer list also included Wisconsin, Boston College, Iowa State, Maryland, Michigan State, Rutgers, Syracuse, Virginia, Wake Forest and West Virginia, but the decision became easy during the weekend visit.

He named the Hokies his leader coming out of it, and then he ended his recruitment with the commitment.

"Virginia Tech is the right fit for me because it checks all the boxes of the things I was looking for," Clarke said. "Location, great coaches and football tradition, great education, awesome campus life, and it was the one place that if football was removed, I would still want to be there."

So nice that the guys we're landing these days have a plethora of P5 offers, unlike a couple years ago when we were competing with G5U for players.
