Inaugural ACC/SEC Chalkenge got underway yesterday.
Georgia Tech, Syracuse and Clemson brought home wins.
NC State, Pitt, #8 Miami, and Noper Dome all lost.
Tonight so far UNC is dismantling Tennessee, UVA is back and forth with Buzz and A&M, and Florida/Wake Forest is fairly close.
The remaining games
Duke at Arkansas
Hokies at Auburn
BC at Vanderbilt
UGA at FSU
ACC needs at least 5 wins to win the challenge outright and 4 to tie.
Duke, UNC, BC and FSU seem like wins so the ACC seems in good position to tie. UVA probably best chance to win it.
Not sure Hokies or Wake Forest get it done.

I don't care about the ACC/SEC Challenge at all. Unless the ACC wins. And then I'll be like, "Suck it, SEC!"
At least Loserville was left out...and are struggling with 2-5 Bellarmine instead. Bellarmine winning 25-20 with 3 mins left in the first half.
Man wth happened to Louisville hoops.
They didn't bring the right tights for one of their players...seriously. And then their coach decided to let the world know about it.
What were they pink tights with flowers?
I will now have this song stuck in my head for the afternoon.
Ha I meant more in general the last couple years but that is hilarious
I believe he also prefaced the quote with "Are you ready for this, I probably shouldn't tell you.
Wake Forest surprised me to burst past the Gators late in the 2nd half. UVA finished off A&M. UNC seem in control to start night 3-0.
UNC game took forever to end. 100-92 win.
BC is up big on Vandy. FSU doubling UGA.
BC up 44-23 on Vandy at the half.
Duke and Arkansas trading baskets
FSU still keeping a couple basket edge on UGA
Arkansas starting to put it on Duke.
BC has allowed Vandy to close it to 10.
FSU still holding strong
Duke is set to lose.
Hokies lose.
BC won
FSU let UGa take a lead with less than 3 to go.
perfect ending, offense ends stuck.
EDIT: Oops, wrong thread.
May still be the right place...for FSU
Seminoles scored three points in final six minutes to lose at the end and cost the ACC the challenge win. Believe it ends in a 7-7 tie. Really wish they played 15 games so every one had a winner.
Kinda funny that the Albarn fans were chanting "SEC...SEC..." when this would be the first win.
7-7
ACC/SEC finish in a tie.
Ugh hate a tie. The ads for the challenge cracked me up because it featured several players saying that the SEC is the best conference in basketball... I don't think anyone that knows anything about ball has ever said that seriously
they were saying that decades ago about football when they WEREN'T the best but they spoke it into existence. The SEC probably will be the best basketball conference in a decade or so
Especially if they keep the refs from last night employed in the their non-conference games.
Yeah having unlimited football money via ESPN to spend on basketball will make that a lot easier, it's already helped them buy good coaches and athletes
I agree. Five years ago you might find one or two SEC teams in Top 25 (Auburn and Kentucky with Florida/LSU/Tennessee sprinkled in sporadically)
Now it's 5 in with 4 more receiving votes. The TV money is definitely moving the needle.
