We're taking our RV to the game this weekend. I checked the VT parking website and it says the public RV lot opens at 5. In previous years, it opened at noon and it was a cluster if you waited until 5 to get there. Just wondering if they're actually keeping the lot closed until 5. And if they are, when does a line start to form to get into the lot? I was originally planning to arrive at noon, but will definitely change up plans if it means waiting around for 4-5 hours.

I don't really know about the Public RV lot that is down closer to campus but they have added (a couple of years ago now) a gravel lot outside the fence of the "Airport RV Lot" on Smoot Drive. It has a yellow sign that talks about how to pay with an app. I think it said that it opens Friday at noon. I'm not 100% positive.
I'm in the Airport RV lot all season so I don't read the fine print on that sign. Unfortunately Airport still won't open up to single game RVs - I think it is a missed opportunity for him.
