[OT] What the heck is Kyron Drones doing up and down the east coast?

There are sightings of him everywhere! Even my own King George community facebook page is agog over Drones sightings!

There's got to be some way that the VTFB social media team can leverage this unique opportunity. Let's see your ideas.

Trying to find his new team landing place?

I just spotted Kyron over NC, the FBI needs to get on this asap!

Suddenly, he seems organized, omnipresent, and elusive.

He certainly doesn't seem hampered in any way.

People say he's hard to characterize.

Yet more evidence that the transfer portal is out of control.

Oh, the NCAA is in charge of it?

That explains why there seems to be no limits.

I was thinking of Drones trying to portal in to all the different locations.

He heard there was unlimited eligibility.

Remember no matter the question, the answer is always "ALIENS"

To be fair, you do have to half-heartedly rule out one other potential explanation before identifying aliens as the solution.

Danny is always open

It's not incredibly athletic dolphins jumping from the Atlantic across NJ and PA on their way to the Great Lakes, therefore... aliens

Here lies It's a Stroman Jersey I Swear, surpassed in life by no one because he intercepted it.

Or maybe they are leaving Earth before it is destroyed by the Vogon Constructor Fleet to make way for the hyperspace bypass.

OMG, I'm hearing it over the ham radio:

"So Long, thanks for all the fish".

This is going to be great for the ACC.

It's good for the fans to make jokes but the official social media accounts need to stay away from this mass hysteria event.

social media is for memes tho

Is this really any different from any of the other nonsense on there?

I don't think so.

Amazon is working on drone technology to deliver packages.

When people figure out they can get take out food delivered by drone, they'll get over it really quickly.

I believe there are companies that facilitizing this now. I also know that on a visit to VT with one of my executives 8 or so years ago, some one from the engineering department delivered a sub sandwich to him via drone when he was at VTTI.

I remember reading about VT's involvement in this a few years ago, and delivering fast food on campus.

Amazon is going to make it a "for real" thing, and food delivery is a natural fit.

I mean we have people shooting lasers at planes and helos and threatening to shoot guns at manned aircraft in some misguided fear of this mass hysteria of the unknown and we want to do "drone strikes" jokes on social media. That seems like Pete Morris level tone deafness.

The only thing worse than social media is cable news legitimizing it by reporting it as news.

Cables news and all 30,000 people watching it.

This is going to be great for the ACC.
