Hoping he can bring some insight from clemson's funding programs. Lived by a Clemson alum, and they really had a fan friendly system for donating. It certainly fueled life into their program
It's part of being born or raised in the state unlike Virginia. Same with Ohio. When your born certain places no matter where your parents or you go to college your a fan of the big state school. When we lived in both places our friends and neighbors and coworkers no matter where or even if they went to school were fans of the big state school.
Feels like ties to the program and/or being from the NRV is a hiring requirement these days.
Granted, but on the flip side, I would love to inject some of Clemson's fundraising ability into our athletic department.
Sorry, not a critique of the hire, just an observation.
Also, I'd rather the messaging from the athletic department was 'give to NIL'.
