That's a preseason photo. They couldn't use any in season photos from all the bruises and bumps.
Kitley's now 9th in the NCAA in scoring (22.3 ppg) and 7th in rebounds (11.7 per game).
She's the only player among the top 27 scorers to also be in double digits for rebounds. Similarly, she's the only player among the top 36 rebounders to average more than 20 points per game. Simply put, she's the most productive post player in the country.
She should be the ACC Player of the Year and first-team All-America.
Too bad she doesn't play in the SEC or Big 10 otherwise she could get articles written about her every single day like Flopzilla at Iowa or Bigmouth down at LSU.
The articles are written but they don't get top billing on ESPN headlines or Fox Sports headlines.

If you restrict it to P5 conferences, it's even more nuts. She's the only P5 player in the top 150 rebounders with 20+ points.
I'm not sure that P5 means the same thing in NCAAW as it does in football. But it probably still means something.
Although if I take off the maroon tinted glasses, the cutoff at 20 is a bit unfair to Angel Reese who is getting 1 more board per game, while averaging 19.5 points.
But even without the maroon glasses, one player in the country having a comparable season playing for the defending national champs, and playing in a worse conference... Holy hell Kitley is smashing.
