ACC Bowl Schedule/Cal and Stanford to stay affiliated for PAC12 Bowl games

Apparently for the next two seasons, if Cal and Stanford become bowl eligible they will be slotted into one of the PAC12 Bowls and not count in the bowl structure for current ACC affiliated bowls. No word on what happens if SMU is Bowl eligible.

wont matter when we're in the playoffs

All joking aside... I do think Pry is 1 year ahead of schedule (to a certain extent). He has all the pieces in place to make some noise this season (not saying it is a foregone conclusion as there are question marks, but...), while 2025 will be a year when they continue to build the foundation along with reloading at some key positions.

I guess what I'm saying is, this is the year!!

Is coronavirus over yet?

I see continued improvement if we are competitive in the ACCCG conversation. Not necessarily that we get there but by the later part of the season we are in the conversation to legitimately make it. Not some "if a loses this week, and b loses two weeks from now, and c wins this week, and d wins when they play c then we get in..."

Like a legit possibility.

So you're saying there's a chance an ACC team plays an ACC team in the Sun Bowl?

Proud Hokie since 2004.

And in the Holiday Bowl.

And Big12 vs Big12 in: Alamo Bowl and Independence Bowl.

Former PAC12 members will also play in Las Vegas Bowl vs SEC and Los Angeles Bowl vs MWC.

No idea how they're going to do selection. And I do imagine they'll prevent intra-conference match ups, but who knows.

How does this work for Bowl payouts? Does the money for a Cal Bowl game go to the ACC or the PAC2?

Haven't seen that addressed but lean towards the latter being the case.

That would seem to be the ACC way. #GOACC
