I know DC isn't exactly a fan of Brad Brownell but he gets credit from me for publicly saying the B12 was manipulating schedules to get more teams into the NCAA's. They deliberately played weak out of conference schedules this year so they could beat up on them more and were rewarded with high NET ranks this year. Those conferences where the media manipulated to get more teams are predictably doing worse when faced with real competition.

1. I hate Brownell. Can't coach. Negative recruits against VT. Yes, this year he fell and hit his head with his 4 top 100 players and won 2 games in March. Great. 2. in 2018 Oklahoma got an at large bid going 7-11 in the Big 12. That conference always gets a huge amount of bids

Texas and TCU were 9-9 this year in Big 12 play. Oklahoma was first team out and 8-10 in Big 12.

They also only play 18 conference games. ACC needs to acknowledge the 20 game conference slate is working against them and drop back to add 2 more non-con wins to every team.

Two more non con games would have likely had the ACC with as many as ten teams with over 20 wins. Drives the conference as a whole up the NET by 4-5 spots per team by the end of non-con. Cannibalization then has less effect overall.

Yep 20 conference games was always a terrible idea. I have no idea why the league decided to do it

The same reason as everything else, $$$$

I don't know what a Hokie is, but God is one of them!

Great that the tree is growing, I just wish it was in a different conference.

SMU hires USC head coach Andy Enfield.

He is the coach that led Florida Gulf Coast to the Sweet 16 in 2013.

He led USC to 5 NCAA tournament appearances in 11 seasons.

SMU fired their coach this season for going 20-13.

Is it just me or is that a hell of a steal by SMU?

He said give to me Roscoe

I dont think it's called stealing when you pay through the nose for something.

Why are we talking about SMU in an ACC thread? Oh wait...This is going to take some getting used to.
