This wasn't really on my radar since Tech is not really a cross country power. Particularly after their mid pack team showing at ACC Championships.
However...
George Couttie went to southeast regionals and won the damn thing. As a team, the Hokie men finished 4th and stole an at large bid to NCAAs. The Hokie women finished 9th as a team, but will not move on to NCAAs.
Three Hokies won All-Region honors. George Couttie (obviously), Nicholas Kipchirchir for his 14th place finished and Sharon Chepchirchir for her 16th place finish.
Also a shout out to Sam Hubert who finished his race with one shoe.

Couttie finished 14th and is an All American.
As a team the Hokies finished 26th. UVA finished a surprisingly poor 21st. UNC finished 6th and Wake Forest was 7th.
