8 x 4-star players isn't bad.
What is bad is how little information there is on women's basketball recruiting. I needed five different sources just to get something. Every database seems to have been scrubbed. The VT page regarding class signings includes references to HoopGurlz, yet ESPN only has 2 signees listed over the last three classes. 247 is effectively gone. Rivals is gone, replaced by On3, which still hasn't gotten it's shit together.

I care more about how they play than ratings. But so far Duffy is checking the boxes for recruiting, portal mastery, and coaching. Right now, actually the coaching is the worst of the three and you can't tell much from 1 year with an entirely new team.
If coaching is the worst of the three, I think we're in a really good spot.
That was kind of my point.
247 shows the Hokies as the #24 class with two four 🌟 recruits in Jenkins and Sears for 2025 but no info on any other years. The problem with ESPN and 247 is they really only track the top 100 or so of each class and rarely update it.

On3 took most of the women's recruiting behind a pay wall so that isn't helping things since its already a limited area.
