The news about Micah Parsons had me looking to see if a general NFL discussion thread had been made for this season, and it appears it has not yet been made, so.....here it is.

The Cowboys believed they had a 5 year, $202.5M deal in place ($40.5M/year average), but Jerry Jones refused to make the offer through Parsons' agent, only communicating with Parsons directly. But considering the above deal with the Packers is for $47M/year, no surprise Parsons wouldn't agree to it.
Edit: The Cowboys are receiving 2 first round picks and DL Kenny Clark in return.
