Hokie Hoops Central: Virginia Tech (13-17) at #11 Clemson (25-5) 6pm ESPNU

Hokies go to South Carina to take on the most punchable coavhing face in the ACC, Brad Brownell.

Brownell has the Tigers tracking for a 3 seed in the NCAA Tournament. Clemson is led by someone that has been there as long as R.J. Davis has been at UNC. 6th year Senior Chase Hunter is putting up 16.4 ppg as one of four seniors putting up double-digit averages. Chauncey Wiggins, 6'10 Forward is the only Junior in the starting lineup. The Tigers typically only go 8 deep.

Clemson simply shoots better than it's opponents. They average over 52% inside the perimeter and 39% outside. They are also shooting 77% from the line. Their average margin of victory is almost 11 points per game.

Their last loss was over a month ago in 3OT to Georgia Tech. The only other ACC loss was in early January to Louisville. They beat the Hokies in January by 15. Hard to see the Hokies getting a win on the road here but you just never know with this team.
