The Hokies are 22-8, 12-6. We are favored by 7.5 points, the predictor says Hokies 82.5%. The game will be on the ACC Network at 7:30. Savannah Samuel, who played 34 min and scored 13 points against the Hokies on Feb 22 did not play yesterday. When we beat them in Feb, the score was 62-51 and they scored 19 of their 51 from the line; so only 32 from the field on 28% overall and 20% from three; but they did make 85% from the line. In the win against FSU they shot better overall 47%, still only 20% from three and 85% from the line. Keep them off the line and they don't score very well.

Walker, Turnage and Foster played 38, 39 and 40 minutes. Tired legs, maybe? Termis at 6' 6" is a challenge because she will also step out and shoot the three. She was 2 of 3 from deep yesterday, but only 1 of 4 on other shots. They did have some foul issues yesterday; Walker finished with 3 and Moon with 4. They only had 9 assists on 23 baskets and 16 turnovers.
If we play the aggressive defense we have been playing and don't have a really bad shooting night, we should win this game.

I think that one was a tough one to call a charge because Nelson was still establishing her position when the GT player was already in the process of jumping. It also looked like the under the basket ref already committed to calling the block, paused for half a second, and then said "Oh well, block".
My wife asks this question every game, and my answer is always the same. You know it was a charge if the ref calls it a charge. Disagree all you want, but that's the deal regardless.
