Edit... The WBB team is now 12-1 as they enter ACC play. I'd love to see more people in Cassell supporting these ladies in hopes of continuing their win streak. It's a fun time. Their 1st three ACC home games are Boston College (1/3, 2 PM), Clemson (1/18, 7 PM), and NC State (1/21, 7 PM). With 18 votes in the AP poll, they are getting close to cracking the top 25.

With tonight's win, Virginia Tech's Women's Basketball team moved to 7-1 on the year. They have a stretch of 3 home games coming up, including Coppin State (12/13, Noon), Mount St. Mary's (12/19, 3 PM), and Radford (12/21, 1 PM).
These fine ladies have done a wonderful job so far this year, including the take-down of #8 Tennessee on the road. With winter break coming, the population in Blacksburg will be down quite a bit. I think it's time to make a concerted effort to support a team that's playing marvelously, and show them that Hokie Nation stands behind ALL our student athletes.
We always talk about how we need a winning team and then we'll show up in Cassell. So I'm committing to being there for all 3 games, and challenge any of our local TKP'ers to do the same.

After 4 years in the HT Pep Band, I can sure you the team responds and really does love when fans show up.
We can do better than having Mil Appreciation, when the whole Corps has to go, be the most attended game all year!
