As the season sadly draws to a close, the football team announced their team awards. It's always great to see guys get recognition for all their work on and off the field.

With his first rushing TD, Rogers became the first player at Tech since Tony Kennedy to have a rushing TD, a passing TD and a receiving TD in the same season.

My first thought on reading this was, "Didn't Michael Brewer have a recieving TD?" but now that I think about it, I believe he was tackled inside the 5.

LT3 also got really close to doing it, but his knee was down for a split second when he caught the ball.

It was very nice of Sam to allow some other people to win awards...

I can imagine no more rewarding a career. And any man who may be asked in this century what he did to make his life worthwhile, I think can respond with a good deal of pride and satisfaction:
“I served in the United States Navy"
