Feels a little too early for this, but Gary Anderson has mutually agreed to leave Oregon State. Cory Hall will take over as interim coach.

Can someone photoshop Butch Jones being ejected from that thing?

Chip Approves

You put those words together, those are my favorite words, Popeyes and bahama
- Mike Burnup

Chip will no doubt be the biggest name this offseason, but do you really see a high-profile job opening up that he would take? Texas A&M very likely and Tennessee definitely will have vacancies, but does he really want a guaranteed game with Alabama every year? Nebraska would be interesting, but I don't know if the location is ideal.

Given the FBI situation, I don't think we'll be seeing him coaching anytime soon. Not with the rumors of how involved he is.

Does he still have his house in Oregon...

*BUTCH JONES CATCHES FIRE*

UTEP has also made a change, as Sean Kugler stepped down and Mike Price was named the interim coach.

UTEP might be one of the toughest jobs in the nation - with El Paso being in far west Texas and right on the US-Mexico border, it's a really hard place to recruit football players. They haven't won a bowl game since 1967 and have had only one winning season since 2005.

Conference realignment has really hurt them too - when they signed up to join C-USA in 2005, Houston, TCU, Tulane and Memphis were still there. Now, they're the furthest-flung school in a diminished C-USA with much deeper cultural & geographic ties to schools in the MWC due to decades together in the old WAC.

So UTEP is rolling, baby?
