Ah..It's the first day of classes and there is a bit of news on who enrolled early.

1. All the expected early enrollees are here and in school.
That list is 10 players long this year. They are: defensive end Eli Adams, defensive backs DJ Crossen and Jermaine Waller, offensive lineman Christian Darrisaw, defensive tackle Joe Kane, long snapper Oscar Shadley, running back Caleb Steward, athlete Alan Tisdale and receivers Tre Turner and Kaleb Smith.
That's the most mid-year enrollees Virginia Tech has had, following the trend in college football these days. Nine players enrolled in the spring semester last year. Three -- AJ Bush, Oscar Bradburn and Dalton Keene -- ended up playing last fall, though receiver Caleb Farley would have if he didn't get injured.

I was a little surprised to not see Jeremy Webb on this list being that he was coming from JUCO. Regardless I still think he'll be starting when the time comes. But overall I love the number of early enrollees. Really think it helps to make the young guys ready to contribute earlier especially at the skill positions.
I thought he was enrolling early. Maybe I made that up but I could have sworn I saw it somewhere.
Does he count as an "early enrollee" or just a transfer?
His JUCO runs on a tri-semester system so he should be enrolling early, just a little later then the first day of classes.
