What's noteworthy about this week is that a very clear division is forming in college basketball right now. There is a Top 13, and then there is everyone else. Our vote total at 921 is basically equadistant from 7th overall (1213) as it is to 14th (599). So yeah, we might have stayed the same, but our positioning is getting much stronger overall.
ACC Highlights
3 - Duke
4 - Virginia
11 - North Carolina
13 - Virginia Tech
15 - Florida State

Looks like our hight ranking was 6 and lowest was 19, guy dropped us 5 or 6 spots after winning the only game of the week...smh
We're also #9 in the NCAA NET rankings (which replaced RPI):
Look at all those quality losses we've been handing out this year
LOL, Pitt is 23rd.
These rankings may change a bit!
Virginia is well on pace to become the 2nd Number 1 seed to lose to a 16 seed.
Also noteworthy: we are ranked ninth in the rankings that have replaced RPI:
drink up!
Watched most of the LSU vs. FSU game over break and came away extremely unimpressed with both teams. Reminded me of the Greenburg days on offense and I thought both teams would have gotten crushed by Purdue. Look who FSU gets to play in the ACC/B1G challenge this year. We will get an idea on just how close #15 is to #13 on Wednesday.
I would say that it would be best if we waited until conference time to judge any of these teams, good or bad...it usually takes teams a couple of weeks playing together to really begin to gel...especially if they dont have a lot of juniors and seniors..
Sure, teams will change with more experience and with injuries as the season progresses. I'm only comparing current rankings of the #13 and #15 ranked teams with a shared high quality opponent within a short time frame. If I wanted to make a more accurate judgement, yes I would wait.
FSU is still without Phil Cofer due to a foot injury, who is arguably their best offensive player (and last year's leading scorer). I wouldn't judge them yet.

Is there precedence to this happening before at ANY school? What is the normal time frame from hearing back on this?
And we're 12th in the Coach's Poll (one ahead of #13 North Carolina)
