Hokies Move Up to #20 in Week 16 AP Poll

Virginia Tech moved up two spots this week, setting the stage for a Top-20 matchup tonight with the #3 Cavaliers (previously #4). Duke climbed back up to the #1 spot while Tennessee dropped all the way down to #5 after their blowout loss to now #4 Kentucky.

There are still six Top-25 ACC teams this week: Duke (#1), Virginia (#3), UNC (#8), FSU (#16), Louisville (#18), and Virginia Tech (#20).

For the first time this season (as noted by ESPN), not a single team entered Top-25 Rankings.

Well, they are on a 7 game win streak after starting ACC play 1-4 (losses to @UVA, Duke, @BC, @Pitt) which includes a win over Louisville. Like us they have an OOC win over Purdue. The human polls seem to overrate them a bit compared to the formulas (#20 in KenPom, #22 NET) but its easier for the polls to adjust for injuries and the "eye test" than the computer ranks which are season aggregates.

Kinda OT: But betting the house on UK beating Tennessee (while covering) was probably one of the easiest decisions I have made in my gambling degenerate life lol

Can't go wrong with Bovada. I've never had a problem getting money, or cashing checks from winnings.

I second Bovada. Got lured in during football season and just do small bets here and there. Keeps things interesting.

if we go 0-2, then yes. If we pull off a win @ND, then I say we actually move up a spot or two.
