2019-2020 ACC Basketball Schedule Released

theACC.com and Hokiesports have conflicting schedules...but given that on 11/26 we'll be playing in the Maui Classic, and acc.com has us playing Duke twice on consecutive days, I have to think the hokiesports schedule is the correct one

Sure people will have complaints, but playing at UVA while they are on break and having Carolina at home the second day of the semester seem pretty prime. Going to be interesting to see how a 20 game conference schedule plays out, thats quite a grind, but also presents an opportunity for MY to really feel things out and maybe get creative with a young roster.

Con: A challenging late stretch of 3 games, with 2 being on the road, within 9 days.
2/22 @ Duke
2/26 vs UVA
3/1 @ Louisville

Pro 1: Only 2 ACC home games during student Winter Break.
Pro 2: 5 Saturday ACC home games. Cassell will be rocking.

We will never beat Louisville in men's basketball... which kinda bothers me. Not gonna lie.

That was Brent's failing. Mike Young is never going to lose to Louisville.

Notre Dame's Feb is OOOOF:
@Clemson
@UVA
@Duke
vs UNC

All in an 8 day span.

I don't have many expectations for this year because of how young and how many new guys we're going to have.

But that said, having the ACC slate front loaded with away games might actually be a blessing in disguise. If the team is able to gel this year, having 7 of our last 10 games at home could have us going on a nice little run right before the tournament.
