My understanding is that they were honoring the accomplishments of the '99 Hokies pregame and throughout the game tonight. For anyone who was at the game, how was it? I was hoping ESPN would show a few highlights from the festivities, but they didn't really give us much. I'm sure there were some cool moments. If anyone has any vids they could post, that would be awesome. I love seeing us pay homage to the legends. Though, I'm sure the enthusiasm of the crowd dissipated as the night went on.

The team forgot to honor them by hosting the biggest beat down in Lane since 1974.
It was definitely the highlight of the night. They showed clips of Beams talking bout the team. He praised the talent, and he's right on the money. It was a special team those that were around will always cherish. Hard to believe it's been 20 years.
