Trinity Baptiste (Women's Basketball) Transfers from VT to Arizona

Even as its arena sits idle, Arizona continues to look more and more like a national championship contender when and if women's college basketball resumes next season. The latest good news came with the addition of Virginia Tech transfer Trinity Baptiste.

The ACC Sixth Player of the Year this past season, Baptiste announced her commitment to Arizona in a Twitter post Tuesday. As a graduate transfer, she will be eligible immediately.

I can imagine no more rewarding a career. And any man who may be asked in this century what he did to make his life worthwhile, I think can respond with a good deal of pride and satisfaction:

Im pretty sure i saw where she cited the reason she was leaving was to get closer to home which is in Tampa. And by my calculations Arizona is not closer to
Tampa than Blacksburg is

It's been a LONG time since the men's basketball team has been less relevant than its female counterparts at Arizona. The men were awful this year.
