Braelin Moore, brother of Kaden Moore, a three star offensive lineman prospect from Bethlehem, PA has committed to Virginia Tech.
Moore is 6'3" and 290 pounds, currently listed as a Guard and Defensive Tackle. His composite score is 0.8366 and his Top247 is an 84 overall.
Moore holds scholarship offers from: Syracuse (only other P5), Army, Navy, Central Michigan, ECU, ODU, and Tulane (among other G5 teams).
LET'S GO! BROTHERS PLAY AT VIRGINIA TECH!
EDIT:
Since we aren't doing embeds, I'm going to link some stuff.

This puts VT at 28th overall for the 2022 class, with an average grade of .8457 of our three signings - which actually puts us toward the top of schools with only three prospects. It's earlier and rankings are going to weird but I'm excited by the promise of the guys we have in the boat currently.

Comments
Like Stroman and Hollifield, bigger recruiting win for Fuente than his grade would represent - if there were true internal issues, younger brothers wouldn't commit.
Really wanted to like this comment until I saw it was at 25
I'm really trying to square this trend with all the tranfers, maybe its just he only appeals to certain kind of kid but if you're in you're all the way in? I would kill for a true behind the scenes book 10 years from now about all that happened, feel like it would be fascinating
I feel as if this conclusion is way overreaching. It certainly reenforces Stroman and Hollifield had a good experience at Tech, as so many brothers have. However, I don't think it speaks to debunking any systemic "internal issues". I'm not implying there are any. However, in the hypothetical world where they have younger siblings worthy of a P5 scholarship, I wonder if a younger Hooker, Hudson or Nester would attend Tech.
I think that's fair. However, those younger brothers being heavily recruited by Tech and not committing to me feels like a red flag (especially Hollifield). Them committing is better than neutral.
This is kinda strange since Hendon did have a younger brother, Alston, who didn't get any FBS offers and plays at their dad's alma mater: North Carolina A&T. Alston got scouted by a few big ACC and SEC schools but notably not VT.
He was a 2020 prospect, so I'm not sure if there was space for him to be recruited (depending on the timeline, if it was before or after the portal exodus - which included Hendon's first trip). It's hard to put it all together and I'm kinda rambling, but I get your point Joe.
I wonder if a younger Hooker, Hudson or Nester would attend Tech
I wonder if, absent the portal, any of them would have left. (Hooker probably would have, since he has graduated)
I feel like Fu is being evaluated, at least in part, against a standard that no longer exists.
That's a fair point. The portal is certainly the norm in college athletics and transfer volume isn't fairly comparable to the era before it. Those transfers, starters, were the ones concerning to me (not the aggregate number of role players and bench warmers leaving).
With all that said, a few Fuente era brothers committing is a positive datapoint, not a conclusion for how good/bad Fuente's running his program.

YES SIR (in verne lundquist masters 1986 voice)!!!
welcome Home.....its all about the FAM!!!!!!
I like linemen. Especially linemen who are brothers! Hope these guys end up starting next to each other in a couple years. Let's go Hokies!
I assume he is going to play on the OL for us? So far the track record recruiting the OL had been impressive, so good to have him on board early.
Brother U. Welcome aboard!
