I still remember the basketball team arriving at URI and looking at the football field near the basketball area. They asked if it was the practice field. They got a surprise that it was their main field.

The Atlantic 10 was a better fit then metro for the Olympic sports and we were in the Big East for football only at the time.

Season opener vs. Maine. First VT basketball game I attended was a home opener vs. Maine as a freshman in 2016.
