I was used to Roth in the day, but generally indifferent toward him. I've always enjoyed Burnop's perspective. I thought Lasser(?) was good. Glad to have Roth back. He is a real pro.

finally, an explanation as to why this game is so f*^&ing early. Yeah, I know other timezones kickoff at the same local time but that is so they can get the 12ET traditional kickoff time. I really can't recall an east coast game ever starting before noon with the exception of the Outback Bowl (I think).

The Gator Bowl in 97? where we got destroyed by UNC was an 11 am kick, too.

To be fair, that was Nick Sorenson as QB (former safety) playing a Top 5 team.
Yes, unc got hosed on bowl selection (which i would normally be in favor of) and took it out on us.
11:42 am kick I think for that other game, I read this will be the earliest that we will ever done a kickoff.
