Yep. It would make sense that some other veterans would go to go with any disafected young players (just look for guys who weren't traveling or being used on special teams that had already redshirted to get a good idea.)

I am sure there will be others, but those are guys where it kind of makes sense for them to have a fresh start or drop down a level to play more.
Strong disagree for Tisdale and Keller. Once Tisdale came back he playa lot. Strong agree for Bullock and Adams. Ferguson seems like he's just content being a backup, idk why I feel that way.
My watchlist includes Black, Christian, Miletic, one receiver not sure who, and maybe Nyke Johnson although there's playing time available in the secondary.
This was Lawson's first year at the position though, and he already looks like the most explosive player on the team. Another year of work and it's hard to imagine keeping him off the field. I wonder if they'll move people around again to keep Tisdale on the field as well though
No offense to Desmond, but do we really need 15-20 separate threads re the departure of low 3 star recruits rated in the 1500s with no meaningful stats at VT? This one has already shifted to comments about other players and we are one comment in.

An Attrition thread since there is going to be a bunch.
There is always a debate on TKP between Team Individual Thread vs Team Megathread.
What usually winds up happening is someone makes an individual thread on top of the news being broken in the aggregate thread.
Previously, Joe has specifically requested that portal entries for individual Hokie players each get individual threads. So we'll do that.
Grad transfer should get own threads, they have a degree, they are a hokie through and through.
Starters or players that rotated in often (Chance Black, Fuga, etc)
All others mega thread?

Joe deleted a catch all thread earlier and said make individual. Can't just be making new threads of the type that have already been deleted. Plus it takes time to track all that stuff down. Also if you spent more time being observant and not a loud mouth you'd see that I did make a list in the coaching search thread, can't do the same thing here because there is not one central thread

That's seems like best approach. Announcements get their own thread. Then once all portal entries go then we have a mega thread with a chart and discussion of overall roster attritions.
The central thread vs individual thread debate is on the vim vs Emacs level. I'll take
someall of the flack here since I've steered the ship to go individual threads. We could have a centralized "2022-23 Virginia Tech Portal" thread and in the OP we link to the individual comings and going threads.
