Disappointing. Pry seemed to speak highly of his winter workouts.

That's a bummer. I thought he showed a lot of potential in the game against Wofford.

I think it didn't help that he was in a cast, if he showed the results of his Hard work, he might be in the top 4 for WR. But this might be another Cam Johnson type of situation where you are just further back in the pecking order and he was listed as a R-SO so he needs playing time.

Not only did VT bring in 3 WRs from the Transfer Portal but Stephen Gosnell and Tucker Holloway showed a lot of improvement. Then you figure Benji and Dequan are going to catch passes as Tight Ends. That's 7 guys who are bound to make catches so I can understand why he would want to transfer.

I really liked his Potential so I hope things work out for him else where

Hokies, Local Soccer, AFC Ajax, Ravens

Also Lofton still in the mix there, and newcomers Ayden Greene and Marcell Baylor had good springs according to Pry. Got Chance Fitzgerald (who has rotation potential as a true fr) coming in with Heath and Pennix in the fall. Moss was going to get lost in the shuffle even with improvement.

Cam Johnson I don't really see the same way. He was small and his injury got in the way of putting on weight. But he still had 4 star talent/potential and played well last year even undersized

I am not sure this is a playing time issue. I was hearing he was ahead of Gosnell and Holloway in the spring. Looking at Andy's reporting, I am guessing he is staying in school, but he doesn't want to play football anymore.

Five star get after it 100 percent Juice Key-Playing. MAN

Yeah, this one might be injury related. I feel like he's one of those guys who could never quite get up to 100%.

Deposit whiskey, receive wisdom.

I have heard it's a medical retirement.
