Starting Catcher Brody Donay Transfers to Florida

This caught my completely off guard over the weekend. Hokies starting catcher, Brody Donay transfers to Florida. We have good depth at the position, but Donay was among the best in the ACC as a Freshman and was a big bright spot for us last season. Definitely will be missed

He's from Florida, probably experienced his first winter in Blacksburg and said nopeee.

If this last winter broke him then he has no hope of living outside a southern state. We had ZERO snow and only a couple of truly cold days (Christmas time).

What winter? I'll take the being from Florida excuse, though, plus Florida had a rather good season this year.
