I'm going to rely on the rest of you to tell me how I should feel about this one.
Indifferent? You no longer expect a third/fourth string RB to stick around for 5 years just to have a chance at being a second string RB in his redshirt Jr/Sr year.
I don't really remember him getting many touches. If tuten decides to come back he probably doesn't see the field much. I don't think it's a huge loss. Kid probably wants to go somewhere he can get on the field. Hope he finds a place he can play
Death Taxes and Justin Fuente couldn't recruit a running back if his life depended on it. It's painfully obvious
except for Herbert (via the portal) and Thomas...
Fuente should hired Billy, dude could recruit a running back
I thought he could have been a decent slot, but with Lane, XTB, and Heath all probably having better upside, there wasn't a window.
He wasn't a tailback. That eval by Fuente and his crew will forever baffle me.
I thought he was going to transfer last year. Pry spent 2 years trying to get him to switch to WR.
I really hope we can hang on to at least one of Black or Duke. They're solid just behind two better backs
Similar to Duke, he had a great running style. Just think our coaches have a lot of confidence of what's in that room and it seems mutual. Love that these conversations are being had. hope for nothing but success.
I really hope Black and Duke entering the portal is an indication that Tuten is coming back next year. Wish both of them success at their next stop.
The thing is I think Tuten is waiting on his draft grade before deciding. At least it seems to be between us and the NFL, and not us and another school.
I don't know about y'all but I can live with players making that choice. Especially when it could set them up for life.
I think he said in his interview yesterday that he's already gotten his NFL Draft feedback and is weighing his options still.

He's trying to recruit himself some beef this weekend π
I wish him well and good luck.
Local Dorman high school fellow that was excited to be a Hokie.
I hope everyone gets their chance....
Wish him all the best I hope he finds success at his new destination.
I was thinking he should have entered the portal after last season, given the number of touches he got and his production. Wishing him the best. He put in a lot of work to be a Hokie and I/we are grateful.
Literally couldn't have been more gracious in his farewell note. That's exactly the kind of person I'm proud to have played for my alma mater.
And this is the scenario that the portal should exist for, not the unregulated free-agency that we've been seeing in other cases around college football.
