Wouldn't wish this on anybody, but I especially hate this for Gabe. Ugh. Just awful. Hoping for the best.
I missed why he was sent to the hospital in the first place. The replay did not look like he had a head/neck injury.
Appeared to be a serious leg injury
ON3 article said he had his leg in an air cast when he got stretchered off. Presumably some bad break?
We could see them pumping up the air cast from the stands but then the ambulance blocked my view. But I guess he gave a thumbs up as the crowd cheered at one point.
But how? unless I was seeing the wrong player, looked like a non contact injury.
