I haven't watched a minute of men's team live (usually do try and catch condensed games of the wins), but Lawal alone is worth the price of admission. Happy for CMY. And glad to see they dominated the infamous Hamilton (infamous to those that follow DC sports at least; but honestly all the Wiz coaches have sucked).
Are you referring to the fact that 6 of his former players are suing him over NIL promises that were not kept?
There's that too. But I mostly meant his .200 record as coach of the Wizards. Until this season, he had the worst record of any Wizards coach. Which is a pretty impressive feat.
Haven't watched a game and decided to look at the ACC standings and then the overall rankings. If there is any indication of the rapidly changing landscape of the Have and Have Nots, coupled with the ESPN's SEC homerism and they have 10 teams in the Top 25. We have 2. The once dominate ACC is no longer.
I think that was clear when the ACC went 2-14 against the SEC this season during the ACC-SEC challenge.
Do I think we're great...No
Do I think we've got some fun players worth watching...Yes
Do I think we might just be able to surprise a few teams and get some wins we shouldn't...yes

I have been pleasantly surprised at the how the conference slate has gone, it really didn't look like they were going to win a single ACC game at one point in noncon play
Men's Basketball is currently +3 on pre-season polls. Currently 11th in the ACC, expected to finish 14th.
Women's Basketball is at +4. Currently 8th, expected 12th.
It might have been against a down FSU, but it was still a win. We actually have a bunch of winnable games coming up (and some real underdog moments as well).

When FSU cut the 22 point lead to 8 or 9 - I just knew we were going to blow it again. Nice to see them put up a fight to keep the lead.
