Ladies up 3-0 on Liberty in top of the 1st
Three solo homeruns by McMillan, Peck and Jones.
Solo homers by McMillan, Jones, and Peck.
Lemley in the circle.
Chatfield and Lynch with RBI hits in the 3rd.
5-0
Peck adds an RBI single to make it 6-0
Lynch adds a 2 run double to make it 8-0. Still no outs in top of the 5th.
Castine with a sac fly to make it 9-0
Going to bottom of 5th. If Lemley keeps them to 1 run or scoreless it will be a run rule victory in the Battle of the Burgs
Lemley completes another shutout
HOKIES win!!! 9 - 0 in 5 innings.
Lemley with a no-hitter!
No Hitter, yeah!
Against #25.
Run rule shutout of a ranked team? I'll take that! ... though I'm guessing Biberty won't be ranked next week.
If Biberty is not their official TKP nickname, then I move that we make it so.
Seconded
So it is written. So is it done!
Missed this until someone mentioned it to me today. All this weekend's games are at the Moyer Sports Complex in Salem. I understand $10 gets an all day pass if under 65 and $5 for over 65. 7 teams playing, so I'm guessing multiple games at the same time. Haven't seen an overall schedule.
Found schedule.

Hokies schedule is in the OP
Correct. I was trying to show all the available games one would get for the entry fee, it they so desired.
Thank you for bringing that up. If weather is good, I'm going to see if I can go.
Ladies are up 18-2 in the 4th.
Ladies have 8 homeruns in the game. Peck, Chatfield and Mazzarone have 2 each.
Only problem with playing in Salem is it isn't being broadcast
Won 18-2
Hokies trail 7-1 in game 2 against Villanova in the 4th
Mazzarone pitched first three innings and got touched for all 7 runs including two homeruns
Hokies only run on a McMillan homerun. Only two hits so far in this one through 4
Lost game 2, 7-6
Had several chances in 6th to tie but couldn't get it done
The wife and daughter will be there today. One of wife's friends little sister plays for Penn St. so they want to go see her and what better way than to see them play VT. Then they'll head to Blacksburg and stay the night with my son at his apartment.
My other son has jv baseball practice and other baseball commitments throughout the day today so unfortunately I won't be able to make it down.
Tied at 3 in the 4th against Pedo U. Not exactly the performance I thought we would see this weekend so far.
Lemley giving up 2 homers is not the norm.
Up 6-3 now in top of 6th
HOKIES win... 6-3
4-1 win over JMU today
Lead Radford 4-1 in bottom of the 6th.
McMillan and Yaeger homeruns and a Chatfield 2 RBI double.
Let them tie it in Top of 7th
Mazzarone ran out of gas and then Kleiman gave up big hit after Emma got in trouble
Hokies have runners on 2nd and 4rd with no outs
Bases loaded
Now 1 out
Hokies win 5-4
Wraps up a 4-1 weekend
Hokies now 16-4
With the win over Radford they're 17-4
Good catch, forgot they went 5-1 on the week with the win over Liberty
What's the over/under on Softball wins vs combined men/women basketball?
Have 29 games remaining plus Conference Tourney/NCAA Tourney.
Men's has two regular season left and probably only has three or four games left total as they are outside looking in on even the CBI
Women are a bubble team for now with the ACCT ahead. Likely need two wins to guarantee a trip to NCAA's. Going to face Georgia Tech most likely in the 8/9 game.
Basketball total at 31 now and likely 34-36 wins at most.
Softball at 17 with 29 remaining but mostly conference play. Figure 20-9 which would put them at 37 wins.
