Hokies do not have a midweek game. This weekend though is the season defining series. Ladies host #7 FSU with Regular Season ACC Softball Champ on the line. The loss to Cal hurt but fortunately Louisville beat FSU on Sunday. A Hokies Sweep would give them the title. A series win should also give them a title if head to head is first tiebreaker.
Game Friday is 6pm on ACCNX. Saturday is 4pm on ACC Network. Sunday is 4pm on ACC Network.
Big weekend so tune in or show up.

Weather in Blacksburg is pretty nice for softball watching this time of year. Hopefully it's a big crowd.
I texted my daughtera nd she'd like to attend but she has exams coming and wishes this series was earlier in the semester.

I think they decided not to because tomorrow would be Senior Day. Assume they have family coming in to be involved there. There are also two post game performances scheduled, one tonight and one tomorrow night
Won't matter if they can't play because of weather. Curious if they would do makeups with ACC title in the balance.

Yes and still might not be enough. Have looked non-competitive the last two days
the last couple nights dont help, but we're still something like 8-6 vs ranked opponents this year -really boosted by the Stanford sweep, who is also ranked right behind the hokies. A win today, convincingly or not, is needed for the morale boost. If we can do that and do well enough in the tournament I would think that would be enough to look us in to hosting the first round.
