They dropped to the 3 seed with the two losses last weekend. Should face the winner of #6 North Carolina and #11 Notre Dame.
They swept Notre Dame 5-0, 12-4, and 15-1 in regular season. They have not played UNC.
Semifinals are Saturday and Final is Sunday. Hokies need to reach finals to lock in hosting a Regional. Would like face FSU again in Final if they get there.

That game was an embarrassment for us and for the ACC. Unfair to either team, poor form from the umps and I'm not happy with coach either. It should have been recognized as unplayable regardless of the game plans and importance of the tourney or tv or anything else. Shit show at best.
Hated it for Lemley, though in all fairness, she didn't handle it well. Disappointed for the team and we fans. I really wanted another crack at FSU.

Who gives a shit about the most shutouts in ncaa, who gives a shit about most no-hitters in NCAA, or two golden tickets or all that other twitter fodder if you can't come through when it matters. Fact: none of our teams have ever been able to perform under pressure where the rubber meets the road (sans the 99 football team). Hell, look at how underperforming wrestling has been the last couple years at the ncaa's.

SEC just cancelled their championship due to weather and declared Co-Champions. Just another thing they execute better than ACC.
