The Hokies went 2-1 last week.
This week, their game Tuesday against Marshall was canceled and will not be rescheduled. Starting tonight they have a three game series against UVA at home absolutely needing a sweep of the Wahoos to have a chance at the NCAA Tournament. They are currently 12th in the ACC with an 11-16 Conference record and 29-22 overall. Boohoos come in 14-10 in ACC play and 30-16 overall.
Tonight's game is 6pm on ACCNX, Friday is 3pm on ACCNX, and Saturday is 1pm on ACCNX. Friday and Saturday both have potential rain in the forecast for Blacksburg. ACC Tournament starts on Tuesday so would not expect a rainout to be played Sunday.

It was announced next February that the Hokies will play in the Amegy Bank Baseball Series at the stadium of the Texas Rangers against a field of Arizona State, Mississippi State, Tennessee, Texas A&M, and UCLA.

I think the zero chance part happened a few weeks ago, being realistic about it. The performance this week should just erase the last bit of hope any of had.
