Virginia Tech wide receiver Cameron Seldon is entering the transfer portal, his agents @david_benzaken and @IanGrutman tell me and @chris_hummer.Seldon, a former top-80 overall recruit who began his career at Tennessee, ranked second on Virginia Tech this year with 23 catches. pic.twitter.com/UP7TAroIKm— Matt Zenitz (@mzenitz) December 27, 2025

Holy crap our second best receiver only had, checks notes, 23 FREAKING CATCHES?
I'm shocked that Drones threw that many catchable passes.
That sounds about right for a 3-9 team that couldn't throw a football for positive yards with any kind of reliability
I was thinking "Meh, I was excited we got him but he ended up being more of a depth piece than a main contributor"
Seeing that he was our second leading receiver puts things in perspective relative to our passing game this year.
I would guess 12 of them were screens or caught behind the LOS.
I would've guessed higher the only passes we consistently completed were well behind the LOS. Seemed to be the only specialty we had this past season.
I'm bummed about this. I just moved to Northumberland County this summer, and it was nice having a local boy to root for on Virginia Tech's roster, especially one so highly rated as a recruit. Oh well, at least I still have Chanz Wiggins to cheer on. #KG2VT

Rumor is he wants to go back to RB...considering he would be at best our third option there, makes sense he wants to transfer.
