After a really bad weekend, the Hokies appear to have brought the hangover home with them. They are currently getting blasted by Marshall 11-4.
This weekend they face #5 GT
Friday 6pm ACCNX
Saturday 2pm ACCNX
Sunday 1pm ACCNX
Could be staring at a 7 game skid.

I'm going to go ahead and say we don't have a good team this year. Hitting is worse and the bullpen is somehow even worse

Welp...losing to GT 13-1 in the 5th. Starting pitcher Ethan Grim lasted 1/3rd of an inning and gave up 7 runs.

Hammering Hokies? Indeed, we are getting hammered for sure. Looks like a tough year coming.
Yeah for all the talk about this pitching staff being much improved they appear to be shaking in their boots from pitch one outside of Renfrow.
Trail 2-1 in the 5th.

With less than stellar pitching, need to leave up to their name 'Hammering Hokies' and score a ton of runs. The 'Getting Hammered Hokies' isn't a good look or desired outcome.
3-2 heater in that situation was an interesting pitch to call, but it worked out... 5-5 going into the 7th.
and we waste a double to start the 7th and strand him still standing at 2nd...
and now things are falling apart in the bottom with B2B HRs given up to the first 2 batters.Scratch all of it... another HR, now 10-5
another f*(&^ng HR. 11-5, still no outs in the 7th
Now 13-5. Thats the bullpen I have grown to despise

unreal... can't even handle the simplest 3-1 putout at first... GT gets the leadoff runner on in the 8th because we can't catch, and now our bullpen is extremely active.
