For those who don't follow tennis, this is more eqivilent the College Basketball Crown or College Basketball Invitational rather than the MBB NIT. VT beat North Alabama, Longwood, U of Chatenooga, and NC Central. We finished the season 7-16 and 3-10 in the ACC.

Really hate to see the direction the team is taking. I have a feeling the program is getting starved, and will be cut when Thompson retires. As a football fan I get, but as a life long tennis player and fan (who's gotten into college tennis a bit more over the last few seasons) it sucks.

I don't follow tennis, but I also have no idea what either of those other things are either. Just made me chuckle, no other point to make.
