Atlanta Hokie Club Tailgate

My sister sent me this link last night. The Atlanta Hokie Club is having a big tailgate before we #BeatBama. I figured I'd pass it along for anybody that is interested. $35 for all the Bud Light you can drink. http://atlantahokies.com/archives/1482

Natty is made by Budweiser, is that included?

Rip his freaking head off!

it says all the Bud Light PRODUCTS you can drink, so I'm assuming yes. Plus, Natty would make it a classy party

Not saying anything bad about the Hokie Club, and I honestly may still end up going, but $35 can buy me just under 3 cases of bud light. I doubt I'll drink 72 beers before the game.

Food is included too, plus a band on the stage (I'm assuming Brittney Spears, but unconfirmed).

Where is the dreamland you live that 3 cases of bud light is $35, i need to move there

all maroon everything

I paid $19.99 for Studweiser recently. NOT HAPPY.

Safeway? They always have the worst beer prices, but I'm lazy and its close to my house so I usually end up paying them

With our group of 12 we can each spend $10 and get enough alcohol for the weekend. Food? Who needs food when you have beer!

I'm not advocating for or against it in anyway. I've never been to Hotlanta so I have no idea what the tailgating/bar scene is like at the dome. It just seemed like a pretty good deal to me.

Coined by ESPN as the Rematch of the Decade the Hokies will take another swing at the 2012 National Champs after a strong showing in the 2009 Kickoff Game.

CAN'T WAIT

I live in the Atlanta 'burbs. Used to go to the game watching parties that the Atlanta Hokie Club does, and they usually put on a fun time. Still haven't done a tailgate yet, though. There's plenty of places near the stadium (google maps is your friend), and you can also hang out at places near the other MARTA stations and then catch MARTA to the stadium when it's time. The cost of the tailgate vs. the cost of pre-gaming at a bar/restaurant though...that $35 will seem awful cheap when you get your tab somewhere else!

Does MARTA go straight to the stadium? I figure I'll be using it a lot because I don't wanna walk around Atlanta in the middle of the night.

MARTA in the middle of the night isn't much safer. I tend to avoid downtown except for the occasional football game, trip to the Aquarium or some festival, or trip in town for work. Traffic and parking are horrible.

LISTEN TO ME AND LISTEN GOOD. If you are tailgating at a bar, make it STATS.

ok
