#SunBowlGifts

Let's make #SunBowlGifts a thing.

H/T to Ty for suggesting making this a thing.

Apparently hair dryers are given out annually since Helen of Troy is headquartered in El Paso.

Here's the list of all of the bowl game gifts. Sun Bowl gifts:

Gift suite; Timely Watch Co. watch; Top of the World cap, Majestic fleece pullover; Ogio backpack; coin, Helen of Troy hair dryer

I'll post some of my favorites as they roll in.

^ This one definitely wouldn't come close to being worth the $550 allotment each player can receive in gifts

Gift Suite is the key term in that lineup. It's a hotel room filled with goodies and the players each select what they want within a specified budget. Probably around $350-400 based on the named gifts, since the NCAA limits the giveaways to a total of $500.

Don't think people realize how money the Gift Suite is

Yeah, it's pretty suite.

Yea, completely unsure why they give hair dryers... Regardless if the company is located in the bowl town or not. I'm sure each player would have gladly accepted a year supply of Ol El Paso Picante Sauce over that damn hair dryer....

From a woman's perspective on the hair dryer.....this could be a really expensive hair dryer.
Mine was $100 and not even close to being deemed "professional" like real stylists use.
The hair dryer my stylist uses was $300. But yeah still a weird bowl gift. And yes I have a $100
hair dyer. Don't you judge me! LOL

@AMB4VT

I can only assume you have well groomed hair...but if you have a $100 hair drier AND unkempt hair...I think it's fair to judge

I actually do, thanks! I have really thick hair so it takes a LONG time to dry. Use to
take me about 15-20 mins to dry every morning. Now only 10. So the dryer has already
paid for itself.

@AMB4VT

Helen of Troy IS an expensive brand! LOL. I have a curling iron that is that brand but I have a hair-dryer made by Chi. The quality of hair dryer you have does help a lot in the mornings :P The players expecting this easily have a great Christmas gift for their mothers!

The hairdryer is actually a smart & practical gift this winter...

I bet Troy Palumalu would have liked that one.

This is going to be great for the ACC.

For the players' sake, I hope it's a cheap one. Would hate for their $550 gifts budget to get eaten up by something they're all going to regift.

I have a hair dryer. It was free. It was left at my house by a guest I'll never see again. She had a ponytail. She was a pony. She had difficulty using the hair dryer.

Did y'all play pin the tail on the pony? A one night stable?
