This is going to be great for the ACC.

Arent they required to for the NCAA now because of sanctions at other schools? Something about number of hours allowed for football activities. I remember an article for other schools getting in trouble for overworking their players per NCAA rules. I think it was Michigan but I cant seem to find an article on it.

Players can voluntarily use the facilities as much as they want. The limit is for coach organized activities.

I am pretty sure that the time clock was put in to instill a "go to work" mentality in the players. I remember hearing about it a while ago, but cannot remember where.

It was installed when they built the new locker room. A player, I can't remember who, gave a tour and showed the time clock. There's a video somewhere.
