Bored as I get the presents ready for tomorrow so figured I would run through the other sports going on and noticed that the Womens BBall team has continued their winning ways in NC schedule by beating Radford on Saturday 82-33 to move to 9-2 on the season. You could tell that the coach got a chance to play pretty much everyone in this game. Ugoka led the way with 22 points, joined by Penn and Panousis in double figures with 15 and 12 respectively. The Hokies had twelve players score points in this game. Ugoka also had 17 rebounds in the game. On the season she is averaging 19.6 points and 11.4 rebounds.
The season will get a lot tougher for the girls going into the conference slate as right now the ACC has six teams in the womens Top 25, including #2 Notre Dame and #3 Duke. Hopefully they can keep on winning but its going to be a challenge. Great job by this coaching staff regardless considering the Hokies were 7-23 and 10-20 the last two years.

Tellier needs to get it going. She is an absolute athlete and is a beast on the defensive end, but her shot isn't falling right now. They get Robert Morris on Sunday and then I believe head into conference play. A matter of 4 wins in conference play and this team should be WNIT bound. A good run in the ACC play and they could even push for a chance for the big tourney for the first time since 07 or so.
